A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ... Enough money within her control to move out and rent a place of her own, even if she never wants to or needs to... A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ... Something perfect to wear if the employer, or date of her dreams wants to see her in an hour... A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ... A youth she's content to leave behind.... A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ... A past juicy enough that she's looking forward to retelling it in her old age.... A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ..... A set of screwdrivers, a cordless drill, and a black lace bra... A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ... One friend who always makes her laugh... and one who lets her cry... A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE .... A good piece of furniture not previously owned by anyone else in her family... A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ... Eight matching plates, wine glasses with stems, and a recipe for a meal, that will make her guests feel honored... A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ... A feeling of control over her destiny... EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW... How to fall in love without losing herself...
Great quote, and something we all need to think about. Love the Parisian view, and I think that is the Lafayette tower in the distance. Also, the Gargoyle is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteNot too sure about the tower, but the rest of the view is bang on.
ReplyDeleteThis picture is sort of a play on the more current cover of 'The Scretape Letters' which depicts a very pensive gargoyle.
Hi Janet, I tried to leave you some instructions about hyperlinking in blogger comments, but my little explaination went skewiff. Anyway, I've found a link here to a man, who can: You should read MikeFitz's post
ReplyDeleteHope this helps.
Btw, I'm pretty sure that the tower in your gargoyle picture is The Montparnasse Tower, and the Gargoyle is on The Notre Dame Cathederal.
Excellent - the gargoyle is the perfect image...
ReplyDeleteThank you Andy! Here is my second attempt at this...

Tumblewords - thank you for your comment. I like your description of yourself. Although I have to eat my words regularly, I am still starving - and smiling too.
